Furry and brown

I am popping up

To look around

If I see my shadow,

Down I'll go

Then six more weeks of winter

Groundhog Day a fun day to share with my Kindergarten kiddos.  I spent a few days leading up to February 2 reading books giving the boys and girls some back ground on the holiday.  The boys and girls then made their own predictions and we posted them on our class graph.

          We then analyzed our data and recorded our information. 

The morning of February 2 arrived and of course and I had to post Punxatawney Phil's prediction:
